For $150 what do you think?

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I might go to Charlotte tonight with a friend to drop off another friend at the airport there. I like these style wheels. It seems like a nice price and all but the idea of buying wheels and going to Charlotte has a few problems.

First I live in a dorm right now and won’t have my car for another month. I could probably find a spot for them but it would mean some compromise.

Second I’d need to put them on here on campus because there’s no way I would be able to take these home on a Greyhound with me.

Third is that there is a floor meeting tonight and there’s a girl that I kinda want to meet.

Plus these wheels are pretty common and come up often (just not in Boone where I go to school). Not to mention the tires look a little dry rotted.

What do you think Oppo? Spend 4 and a half hours in a car for some wheels or stay here and maybe meet a girl?

Wheels will pop up again. Unless you need new wheels, and not just want, I would say they can wait.

Stay and meet the girl. If they’re as common as you say they are, then hold out for some with better tires. Sounds like a win/win to me.

if the tires have reasonable life in them, there are plenty of times it’s good to have extra wheels/tires around.

car guy speaking here, 150 for those 4 wheels looks like a great price. Get the wheels, bring the girl. 4 and a half hours to get to know that girl.

You never know what problems may arise on the trip, and if they're only $150 the tires are - like you said - probably worthless. Plus storage, transport, etc.

It’s a need/ want thing. I’d use my current decrepit alloys as winter wheels and these as my “summer” tires.

The girl also lives on my floor so I’ll see her again. She’s just kind of quiet and the meeting will get her out in the lobby.

I think I’ll just stay.

I wish I had enough game to convince someone (much less a girl) to go on a 4 hour road trip. I’ve seen them for less but am always out of town or they’re too far away.

Go after the girl, brah. I passed up a few opportunities back in the day and should have gone for it. But then again... I might have ended up with VD, so maybe not.
